communication wincc flexible 2005 SP1 - S7-200 with USB/PPI Cable

Giampa Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear sirs, I'm using Wincc Flexible Runtime on my PC and there is no Communication with S7-200 via USB/PPI Cable. the camble is working with Step7 but no with Wincc Flexible 2005 SP1. I read all threads, i try everything but there is no communication. can you help me please? thanks, Giampa

If you want to connect a PC with a S7-200 PLC you can only use a ethernet connection or DP/MPI/PPI connection. For the DP, MPI or PPI connection you can use a standard DP or MPI cable. Bye

If you use one of this cable with WinCC flexible project transfer you don't needanysettings of the PC /PG interface. The transfer settingsare set in WinCC flexible only. In the Siemens ST80 catalog on page 2/25 you find an overview of all cables that you can order at the moment. Bye
