CP5611 Driver Issue

GopalKrish Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear All, We have a computer with CP5611 card. We are using it for communication between S7-300 PLC (CPU 313C-2DP) with Citect Scada. This Card was functioning during the project FAT time and also for some months at site. But now we find the card is not communicating. When we go to Windows control panel and check the PG/PC interface, we find that there is a warning symbol on top of the CP5611 card. I have enclosed a JPG file for reference. Kindly help me in this regard. When i go to Computer Device Manager, i find the PCI device is not installed properly. Where can i find the driver software for this card. This computer is being installed with Simatic Manager Version 5.3 + SP2. Regards Gopal Attachment CP5611 Error.JPG (747 Downloads)

I have seen where you switch the mode from Configured to PG Operation and it removes the card from station configuration. What changed in your system? I receive corporate security push-downs occasionally, and they often disable different parts of my hardware. I just go back into device manager and restore the setup.

They are - as far as I know - somewhere hidden in any installation files. But after installation the files must be in S7SDD folder. I think the files for CP5611 are called S7opciax.* Maybe remove the CP from PC, start it up and shutdown again, put CP back into system so it recognizes new.

The message you show looks, as far as I see it, like the message that the Board is missing. Is the CP 5611 still in the PC? Did someone add or remove Hardware from this PC? Well... just guesses.
