Error F231

kid237 Posts: 158 Rating: (3)	hi, I am having problem with Midimaster Vector (6SE3231-0DK40). Error F231 everytime the power is switched ON, sometime i can reset the error and Run the motors but sometime i cant even reset the inverter. I have used "mega test" to check if there's any voltage leakage or short circuit in the connections from the motors but they are all fine. I have even removed the output connections from the inverter and tries to switch OFF the main incoming and when i switched it ON the F231 comes out again. So that means the error is coming out even when the output is not connected, how is this possible? Could the inverter be faulty? but after i reset the error, i can Run the motors without any problems. Is there any solutions for this?

Tambe Posts: 148 Rating: (11)	This is a problem with the Drive. The igbt do not have any problem you have to repair or replace the driver card. This is problem with internal current monitoring circuit. Please contact your nearest siemens Service center. Regards, tambe

kid237 Posts: 158 Rating: (3)	Hi, Thank you for the replies, I need to go online with this Midimaster Vector 6SE3231-0DK40 and take a backup of all the settings stored in it. i will be using this PC inverter connection kit 6SE6400-1PC000AA0. My question is, will this connection kit be compatible with the midimaster vector? is the any procedures or manuals for this task? thank you.
