I have one operator panel OP177B and one project with two languages: italian and english I must to start OP with english language...i tried everything but I don't understand. There is agood system to start the op with a specific language? Thank you
	Setting of my PG M6 Siemens OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2; Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8850H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz - 32G of RAM TIA15.1 Update 8; TIA17 Update 7; TIA18 Update 5 (i use normally)

Aranel Calafalas Posts: 220 Rating: (14)	Hi Roby, you have to select the language and then shut down the runtime by function!!! Not turn off the panel. Only during the shutdown-process the last actual language and other data being stored. If you turn off the panel without this it always starts in the language which was the last when correctly shut down the runtime or which is projected first. regards Aranel

Wizard Diamond Expert Joined: 4/24/2006 Last visit: 12/24/2025 Posts: 9092 Rating: (1202)	Dear Roby, I guess you have in Device Settings -> Languages -> two languages, English with 'order for language switching' = 0 and Italian with number 1. When Runtime starts, the project is displayed according to the most recent language setting. When Runtime starts the first time, the language with the lowest number in the "Order for language setting" is displayed. (From online wincc flexible help) Try the following, just select one language in Device settings (English only) download to panel. Then you select both languages and download to panel. Perhaps it's useful. I hope someone else will explain it better. Best regards, Wizard

Aranel Calafalas Posts: 220 Rating: (14)	this is also a good solution wizard there is nothing to do it better ;) but the suggestion that he have to use a function to shut down RT is still recommended. When someone select the other language and is able to shut down rt it will come back with the other one ;)

I changed the language, restarted runtime and transferred in op....none! something wrong buti do not know what... attachment the priority of languages in my project.. I don't understand.... Aranel Calafalas Posts: 220 Rating: (14)	Hi Roby, do you have on your panel a button/key defined with function "StopRuntime" (Mode Runtime)? after changing to english language on the panel, you have to use this one. Now by restart the Panel or Runtime it should come up in english. regards Aranel
