So i mean a block FC/FB that may calculate for example the CRC-16 or CRC-CCITTof some data so the other site can check if the data is still ok. There are two common 16-bit CRC polynomials. The original IBM CRC-16 is x^16 + x^15 + x^2 +1 The more popularCRC-CCITT is x^16 + x^12 + x^5 +1 Best regards, Late
