Redundant System A/I modules Values Error

msmanik Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Ihave S7-400 System with CPU-412-2DP and ET200M Station. in ET200M Station, i have 2 Digital Output Modules and 3 Analog Input modules and 2 Analog Output Modules ,I am facing problem with 3Analog Input Modules 6ES7 331 1KF01 0AB0. Before its working fine but now all 3 A/I modules all the channels showing 32767,If I take out +24 wire from the 1st A/I module 2nd and 3rd A/I modules become normal,If I take out +24 wire from the 2 nd module ,1st and 3 rd module become normal,If I take out +24 wire from the3 rd module ,1st and 2nd module become normal, I checked all A/I modules Voltages its all fine, I changed 3 new A/I modules still same I change power Supply Unit Still Same Please Help me to Solve This Problem ,Thanks

In ET200M Station I have 2 nos Digital Output Modules (6ES7-322-1BL00-0AA0) 3 nos Analog Input modules (6ES7 331-1KF01-0AB0) 2 nos Analog Output Modules (6ES7 332-5HF00-0AB0) I am facing problem with 3Analog Input Modules 3 A/I modules Configured as 1 Channel - 4DMU (4-20Ma)-jumber Setting(C) 2 Channel - 4DMU (4-20Ma)-jumber Setting(C) 3 Channel - 2DMU (4-20Ma)-jumber Setting(D) 4 Channel - 2DMU (4-20Ma)-jumber Setting(D) 5 Channel - 2DMU (4-20Ma)-jumber Setting(D) 6 Channel - 2DMU (4-20Ma)-jumber Setting(D) 7 Channel - Voltage (0-10v) -jumber Setting(B) 8 Channel - Voltage (0-10v) -jumber Setting(B) Current Status All 3 modules 1&2 channels (4DMU) working,All others channels showing 32767 I done some testing Test 1 I take out +24 wire from the 1st A/I module 2nd and 3rd A/I modules become normal, Test 2 I take out +24 wire from the 2 nd module ,1st and 3 rd module become normal Test 3 I take out +24 wire from the3 rd module ,1st and 2nd module become normal Test 4 I checked the all A/I channels Voltage and current, Its not varing in Current Status and test 1,test 2 and test 3 Test 5 I checked A/I modules current by connecting multmeter series with +24 V,Each Modules Taking 49ma Test 6 I checked the current from DC PSU its giving 450ma ,The rating of PSU is 2A Test 7 I changed new DC psu still same I suspect 2 things mainly 1.Distributed I/O backplane 2.May be High current drawing from Backplane My Questions 1,How to check Distributed I/O backplane working 2.How to check Distributed I/O backplane drawing current 3.Why A/I modules values are not updating when 3 modules are connected 4.What are all the reasons affecting the A/I channels Value with correct wiring and correct jumber setting and currect voltage or ground Thank you I spend more than 2 weeks for testing,Please give me solution ASAP once again Thank you Expecting your reply Attachment Normal-3 module online.JPG (591 Downloads)

Wizard Diamond Expert Joined: 4/24/2006 Last visit: 12/24/2025 Posts: 9093 Rating: (1202)	Hi, I guess you have analog input 6ES7 331-7KF0x-0AB0 , because you talk about setting A,B,C and D of measuring range. When you have 4-20mA 2DMU, means Card is supplying voltage to passive sensor. I guess you know that.
