riri7707 Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm new with LOGO! but i learned a lot through this forum, thanks for your indirect help. Now, i'm finishing a prg for pool management and i wanted to know if we can manage actions (commands) through menus? I know we can easily use the 4 arrow keys like an imput by the use of "ESC + arrow", but is it possible to implement funcitons to be availble through menus in order to have more that 4 virtual imputs. Means, we go to a menu, with the arrow we go to the desired "text line", the by simply pushing the button, we validate this action. These to have several actions permitted for the user and not only 4 . Ok, i know we have now the new TD display with 4 more virtual imputs, but requested through menus and submenus created on the normal display. Thanks for your comments.

FogBot Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	You can use an input (F key or hardware input) and increment a shift register. The logic state of the shift register can be used to enable an array of "AND" gates that control message text. Each instance of the message text can be unique. With the new version of the software, you and use the status of the inputs or outputs to change the text displayed on any given message. I will be using this arrangement for one of my applications. These open my eyes for what i'm builduing...: Complete pool management : automatic heating, pump management according to water temp, winter active management with ICE, automatic water level, etc... Great objective i put on me forthe first beginning and personnal project.. Would you like to take a look once it will be advanced just to tell me if it makes sense and my concept doesn't introduce false things? Actually i only have OA5 version not OA6 yet with TD display. Difficult to find in France... to early i suppose. But i'm looking for to buy TD and OA6.. Any ideas where to found them? Merci, Thanks, Danke...

What i need to replace is all temp input system, because i will use AM2 PT100 module instead 0-10v analog input asactually in the file.I began my draw from this point, reading a post "about filters"..... For this last point, i have a doubgt and i will open another post not to mix all in one... The other point, i want to display in which timming step the system is running and have the possibility trough the display and keys to force the timming step manually for a period of 24h then the system will be back to original automatic running process. That's the reason why i need "menus" and "submenus" and "commands"from the logo display and arrow keys. Please give me your comments. First i think, that the arrow-keys are not the best solution if you use the new external TD, because to use an arrow-key you must holt the [ESC]-key at the same time too.... To answer at your question please tell me/us more (all) details for the programmed function you want and the corresponeded user action(s) (text and/or pic) for better understand and a "special" solution for your aims! To better explain what i'm looking for: As you an see in my diagramm, i use 13 majors blocks to command a pump with different timmings and different day modes. That's fine, works on simulation but i never knows exactly in which mode i'm really; only temp °c info didplayed So what i want: 1st to have the display of the running mode ( can be mode 1, 2, 3 to 13, it's enough). 2nd to have the possibility to run these modes manually from arrow keys and submenus. Actually these were commanded by temp amplifiers only. I know "arrow key +esc" is not a must, but this is the only way without using hardware input module. But actually i only have OBA5 at best to do that with AM2 PT100 module. I' m looking for OBA6 and TD display, but it will be for future upgrade of the system. As this is my first personnal project, it's clear i don't manage all functions and tips&tricks.
