FM350-2 works with encoders 1Vss sin/cos?

swilly Posts: 52 Rating: (4)	Hi. I have to connect 8 incremental encoders to a S7-300, and seems to be a good election the FM350-2 module (8channels). But I have 8 motors with encoder inside, the encoder is 24Vcc supplyvoltage but1Vss sin/cos signal output. Can the FM350-2 works with these encoders? If not, which module can be used? The application is a 8 axis positioning (position loop closed with the PLC).

When you will use the Motor with Endcoder than you can - FM350-2 andconvert the Signal to 24 Volt ( With external Hardware ) - FM350-2 and install an aditional Encoder with 24Volt. Ask: You need for your Motor an Power-Unit (Power for Motor) Many Manufactor has an Endoder-Output. Search an Power-Unit with the right included converter ( Output 24 Voltfor FM350-2) Encoder with 1Vss is for/has Sinumerik 810D/840D But i think a CNC is not the Hardware what you need (Price) Sorry

swilly Posts: 52 Rating: (4)	No, I am trying to use CPU 315-2DP/PN with FM350-2 module. The motors are asynchronous 0,37 Kw. The variable speed drives are Altivar71 with profibus. I don't want to use special electronic, except in the case of global cost lower.

(With 1 Vss Encoder-Input) If yes --> If possible loop-back the Position von FU --> profibus --> Actposition over Pofibus. ? Speed-Control over Profibus return ?
