When you want to use a MP as a thin client, it is not possible to run directly on the IE of the MP. (When you run client directly on your device, it is called a webnavigator client, not a thin client). In the case of MP, Webnavigator client does not run on MP. You need to use terminal services to connect to a terminal server (can be same as your WebNav server, but not a must). Then you run the webnav client over the terminal service. Check this link below for some info on thin client. This is for latest version, but thin client feature remains the same. https://www.automation.siemens.com/hmi/html_76/products/software/wincc_optionen/navigator.htm Please check the link below. It givesa detailed description and sample configuration including step-by-step instruction on how to do this. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/28309119 PS: You will need a TS_CAL license fromMicrosoftper terminal service connection (per thin client) on the terminal server |

Hi stijn, if you want to connect thin client to WinCC server, you can use RDP(RemoteDesktop Protocal)connection. The step in doing so is as http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26095404 Yai |
