C3rnash Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	I am using PLCSIM V5.4 with SP1. I am getting an error in the title bar of the little box whenever I try to view the status of any PIW's or PQW's. "Invalid A..." shows up at the top of the small window no matter what P-- address I try. I can't make the window any larger to view the rest of the message as S7 limits the size of these boxes. Is this a limitation of the processor? I am using a 317-2 PN/DP processor. Thanks for any help. Jarrett

Only the CPU 315-2DP, CPU 316-2DP, and CPU 318-2 CPUs download an I/O configuration. If you download a program from another S7-300 CPU, the system data does not include the I/O configuration. This causes errors when you attempt to access peripheral I/O in S7-PLCSIM. To correct this, create an CPU 315-2DP, CPU 316-2DP, or CPU 318-2 station and put a copy of your hardware configuration into it. Download the hardware configuration from the CPU 315-2DP, CPU 316-2DP, or CPU 318- 2 to S7-PLCSIM. Perhaps it helps Best regards, Wizard

João Paulo Alvim Posts: 6 Rating: (1)	Hi C3rnash, I have the same problem, but I' m using the PLC SIM 5.4 SP2 When I uninstall the SP2 and installed the SP1 the problem was solved. After that I can simulate any PIW value that is declared in my hardware. Perhaps it helps Best regards, João Paulo
