Emergency stop using digital input while in prfibus control

That means if 24V is there at terminal number 5, then VFD starts else stops. This 24V supply can be controlled through PLC output which in turn depends upon emergency button. Regards Manmeet

This may be possible if the supply to the motor is broken by an acreditied safety circuit, to use the Inverter Drive would not be correct. A safety function can be provided using the Sinamics G120, using the CU240S DP-F, this can provide a failsafe function via Profisafe to a relavenl SIL level/ category, if correctly configured.
