Atemp Posts: 41 Rating: (1)	Hi, i wanted to monitor the communication of HMI using the tag status of my external (analot tag) tag which will trigger an internal tag(binary). I have created a Global C-Script under the Global actions (WinCC Explorer). I added the internal tag in the Alarm logging to trigger an alarm. To test I disconnected the HMI comm. but the alarm I created for the Communication didnt display. Please tell me if I miss anything. And what should I do. Atemp Posts: 41 Rating: (1)	hello Jaapie, Thanks for responding to my question.Irun the program u gave me butseem like nothing happen to thealarm.I opened the test picture and check the object property of the one object on the screen but sorry I dont understand the code. Im not good with C at all so I was hoping if you explain it to me or if you have other solutions. Thanks Jaapie. Is there anyway to check the code I created in the global actions to see if its working?.. Im a suppose to call the "action"to one of my object, example in the pushbutton property?

Debugging your C-script can be done with Apdiag.exe (look for it in windows explorer). Till soon. Jaap

WinCC 7.2 already has the system message in case of the drop of connection. Is it enough to simply attach some C -action to appropriate system message? I am talking about system messages 1000204 and 1000205, for connection drop. Best regards,
