Hi to everybody, I'm testing the MAS5 example with V2.1 library and it works perfectly if I use I0.0... I0.5 to switch different modes ("initialization, manual, broadcast, request").

But I think it is quite unuseful...

Imagine I an an engineer, I need to inquire state from a remote plant sending an SMS because I just received an alarm message. So I assume it is in "broadcast mode" because it sent me the message..
Now I should trigger the mode to "request" to send the "level" inquire.
But if I can switch a input there's no need to send a sms, assuming that I'm near the plant, isn't it?

I tried in many ways to switch automatically between broadcast and request mode, but no way.
I can't trigger the request mode because I can't know somebody needs to inquire plant before they send a message!!!
I tried to leave plant in request mode waiting for inquires and switching to broadcast mode triggered by alarm, but it receives one inquire only then it remains idle.
Please can somebody help me? Thanks!!!

I already positively tested a simplyfied program using broadcast mode only, and I already thought of including some values in sms alarm text (like I do for TD200 alarms).
But what if I'd need to test modem functioning or verify plant status independing from alarms?
I think it could be very useful finding a way for automatic switching from broadcast to request, since they must be alternative (if you leave both active e.g. after you get INIT_status=15 you turn into a conflict, I suppose because they bothcall SMS_send and SMS_xmt_rcv_manage subroutines)

But what if I'd need to test modem functioning or verify plant status independing from alarms?
