The best way would be to use the built-in Message System to record these audit events as per Balu's post. Simatic Logon enhances the security system to help with FDA compliance and does not really track operator changes. Just my twopence worth ... Salma

Maybe our issue is already solve but here some info to remember: If you have a Multi-Client in you PCS7-system and you want the Operator Login name in the alarm message (In front for the text in the field "event") than you have to set in the client the following setting: Open Client project with WinCC Explorer go to Server Data, Right Mouse click on Server Data and select Standard Server. In here you have to select a server for the option Alarms. Now all the alarms have the "operator Login" in the message text. Good luck.

burnett Posts: 64 Rating: (8)	Hi, I tried to use the script described in the FAQ to generate a message in the operationslist. I succeeded in generating the message but, it did not really give me any usefull information. It said: "0 old:0 new:1 0" which does not really tell me anything about which buttonthe user had pressed. I tried to add information to the old and new values but it refuses to accept a string as variable. In what way can I configure the script to tell me what button was pressed? Kind regards, Burnett
