oldfalg Posts: 28 Rating: (1)	hello: we can use PWM mode in CPU313C only, and don't support PTO . so I think ,you should use special stepper module, for example FM353/357/453 and ET200S step module.

S7-200 CPUs like 224, 224XP & 226 supports two High speed integrated digital outputs. DO0.0 & DO0.1 and they can run as PTO "Pulse Train Output" or PWM "Pulse Width Modulation". I think this solution would be cheaper than going to Function modules like FM353. Regards,

sarwan Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hi Ayman, We already used stepper motor with s7-200.But my client need to interface stepper motor with s7-300.And i had seen some examples using sfb49 in 300,it is PWM output,is there any SFB with PTO output.

I mean SFB49 and If you see the help on SFB, You will see that you can drive PWM using the integrated digital outputs on the CPU. For CPU 312C: Use Q124.0 & Q124.1 if the starting address is 124.0 and it's limited to 2.5 kHz. For CPU 313C, 313C-2 PtP, 313C-2DP: Use Q124.0, Q124.1 & Q124.2 if the starting address is 124.0 and it's limited to 2.5 kHz. For CPU314C-2 PtP, 314C-2DP: Use Q124.0to Q124.3 if the starting address is 124.0 and it's limited to 2.5 kHz. With best regards,

The outputs are made for heating coils or something else. The problem is, that you have a limited range ofseveral frequenzes. For exsamlpe 2,5 KHz is possible but 2,4 and 2,3 KHz is not possible.
