I'm able to indicate status of master cpu(LED indication)but not salve please help me. If any sample programme send meas early. I'm watting for reply.Plz don't say it is not possible to read out led status of slave CPU. Regrads, Yogendra G

daga Gold Member Joined: 3/18/2009 Last visit: 12/9/2025 Posts: 306 Rating: (95)	Have you tried already what's mentioned in thissample program(Getting the Status for the CPU LED Indicators) The accompanying manual describes how to identify LED status for the Master and Stand-By CPU by looking at the bits in the data record. Call SFC51 with SSL ID W#16#0174 and a valid index. 2. It should return two data records, 1 for each CPU. 3. Evaluate these records in your program to obtain the required information. Remember, In the sample program, provision is made to read only 1 data record, and by default it uses SSL-ID W#16#0119. You need to modify it accordingly.

Smulekar™ Posts: 27 Rating: (2)	Dear Daga, Do the followint thigs which can show you the way to develope,. 1)Check PCS7 Wincc help where there specify which standerd faceplate and blocks are available to read the status of the CPU. 2)normaly when you compile some system blocks are automatically generated. 3)these blocks can be read by wicc which give the status of the CPU. 4)there are various blocks(automatically generated) which even give the active/standyby status, of not just CPU but also all the redundunt modules if you have connected on profibus. AnupW Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear Yogesh, It is possible to show the status of LED's for both Master & Standy by CPU. In SFC-51 you assign the DB. In that DB, Whichever is the Master the data is available in starting address of DB & for slave the data will be available after completion of the Master Data. so as the CPU switches between Master-Slave, the data for the cpu also gets swaped in DB. So at the same time you have to write the Logic for swaping. i don't have any such back-up, but i think swaping the data is not much difficult. i'm really sorry for the back up, if it would be there i would definetly given to you.
