Minastirith Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I have problem when I am trying to use Simatic batch with WinCC V6.2 (without PCS7), only with Simatic Step 7 V 5.4. I have finished install all the package in the Simatic Batch but when I'm trying to open the example file in the "examples" directory of step 7 called zen33_01.zip it shows error message noticed me that Simatic batch and TH-IEA-PO need to be installed. What should I do? Is it possible to use simatic batch without PCS7? Thanks for your supports........

As far as I know Simatic Batch is a part of PCS7 and is tightly integrated with other engineering tools of the PCS7 system. Hence I am not surprised with the error messages you are getting. Did somebody recommend this to you? Why do you want to try batch without PCS7? What's the background? Regards

But I still havn't known how to make it work.....Thanks for your help.....I really appreciate that.....

But you can ask to your salesman, there is a "SIMATIC BATCH for WinCC" option (Batch for WinCC is different from Batch for PCS7). The bad information is very hard to findsupport about this option (because no so many application running on the plants and knowledge is not so big, but just my opinion) . Minastirith Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I allready have the simatic Step7 v 5.4 along with the simatic batch bundled with winCC V6.2..the problem is...I couldn't configure the PC station in the Simatic Manager....otherwise if we use the PCS7, then we're able to configure the PC Station (Hardware config --> PC Station). The question is how to configure the PC station in the simatic manager, because it seems that the simatic batch is not integratedin the simatic manager....because we cannot work in the wnCC side only right? there has to be some kind of bond or connections between simatic winCC and the simatic manager when we use the simatic batch right guys.....? Thank you for your helps......

CBo Gold Member Joined: 4/5/2006 Last visit: 10/3/2025 Posts: 917 Rating: (63)	Hi Dumbledore, not sure to understand your question: - do you have Simatic manager installed - do you have WinCC - do you have Simatich Batch for WinCC (remember WinCC and PCS7 are different, never mix installation) what is exactly your trouble creating "PCStation"?. Can you explain better, please? PC Station should be already installed in Simatic Manager, but not "WinCC Application" and "Batch Application" component you should configure inside. Can you explain what is your architecture( ES, OS, Bacth station and so on). Reagards

Minastirith Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Yes, I do have Simatic Manager, winCC and Simatic Batch (not PCS7) installed in my pc. actually what I'm trying to do is making a PLC (s7-300) connected to a WinCC server and 3 winCC clients and I also want to use simatic batch, since it is for batch application. could you help me and tell me how to make the configuration in simatic manager (for the batch station) so that the simatic batch can be intgrated within the simatic manager (isn't it should be integrated?) Thanks for your help....
