Hi Abyrne, I haven't had a chance do use DowntimeMonitor yet, but I know the product's features so I may be able to help... 1. Does Siemens offer a reporting tool for DowntimeMonitor? WinCC has a report tool in it. DowntimeMonitor will also offer trends, Gantt, Pareto, Bar, stacked column charts. WinCC's Report Designer allows you to include trends in the reports... The data can also be exported to .csv files, which allows for further flexibility. If you need to use a third-party reporting tool, export data to other databases or allow it to be viewed remotely in Microsoft Excel or Internet Explorer you should take a look at WinCC's options DataMonitor (for remote data viewing, office reports, web process screen viewing) and ConnectivityPack or IndustrialDataBridge (for data export). 2. I wish to create a model ofshift patterns so that KPI’s can be recorded against shifts. When you create the KPI model can the shift patterns be modelled? One of the key features of DowntimeMonitor is it enables the comparison between resources which seem to be identical, e.g.: similar equipments or different shifts. 3. Can a WinCC graphic be generatedto propagate the DowntimeMonitor with manually entered information? You wish to input data for DowntimeMonitor? mmm... it uses the project's tags, so I suppose if you enter the data into tags it'll work. The link I posted above will also contain information on DowntimeMonitor, since it's one of the options... Best regards, Danielle |
