Hi The problem is that the Siemens SIMATIC S5 PLCs are programmed via a TTY serial interface (called also 20mA Current Loop). To connect a PC, which is normally equiped with RS232 ports, a converter is therefore required. You can try to find one on the internet or you can try to bild you one. Hi Thanks for your reply, My system is a SINUMERIK 840C Controller, with integrated S5 PLC . |
