Transferring the project from wincc flexible 2008 to wincc v6.0

EULER1313 Posts: 86 Rating: (1)	Hi all, I have a wincc flexible 2008 contains a project for MP 277... I want to know if it`s possible to convert the whole project to be used in WinCC v6.0? Or, i must rebuild the screens and tags again??

In this way you can migrate screens, tags, structures, channels and dynamic. Full migration is not supported. Look at this link http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/18796902

The only solution was made is to do printscreens of flexible and try to draw the same in WinCC . You can experiment with tag export/import, but I think it will take long time and make project more confusing. The thing is that Flex is HMI while WinCC is SCADA. It is different systems and converting from one to other is big problem. In WinCC you can have a lot of functionality while in Flexible you are limited so why its not possible to convert very easily.
