rit03 Posts: 341 Rating: (24)	I would recommend you to calaculate all this data (per shift / daily / monthly / annualy) in PLC and use as a Tag in WinCC and then arrange nicely this tag on standard print layout and then use function printjob to print your report. SRB2677 Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hi, If we calculate these data in the PLC, thent PLC gets loaded and system gets malfunctions. instead of this can you suggest any Global script in which we call these tags and arrange in the form of Reprts in Excel or in Access. Regards, Sunil

Nil96 Posts: 325 Rating: (14)	Hey Sunil, When we started using PCS7 or Wincc for the first time, we used the Tag Logging where in for each tag we specified the Acquisition at a desired rate and then Archiving say every hour or every 8 hours or every 24 hours. With this we made sure that the Logging happend as per what ever we designed for ( hourly, shift, day). When it came to report, made use of the Report Designer-->Layouts. Here we can define the much needed view in which the report has to be viewed. U can choose this from the runtimeview in the report designer. Well all this works fine. But at times, we found that this gives kind of erratic data. So now a days we are doing the above using scripts. We developed modules like Logging, Viewing and report display. All these modules are developed in VB and we use Global C scipts to trigger the logging. Say every 1 minute we trigger the module called logging and at the end of hour it stores the values in the specified file in binary format. Like we use triggers for shift & day. For viewing, u can use the microsoft date & time and the same can be passed to viewing module which will extract data & the same can be stored in some excel file. After this u can use the WinCCWebBrowser to display the excel file. Hope this is clear. Regards Nil

dilipan_c Posts: 34 Rating: (2)	Hi Wincc comes with SQL server In that u can create ur own database, and the required tables like shift,monthly Use the Global VB script to send the data to SQL Usage of SQL is advantage becoz it comes with Wincc, for MSaccess u have to buy the MS office professional Use the Excel to import the data from SQL via by VBA using ADO connection Or u can use Visual studio 2008 to generate EXE for the report which is very easy We are using this technique for couple of years and found satisfactory regards dilipan
