How to Undo the OS Editor in WinCC 7.0

impala Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Customer clicked on the OS Editor in in WinCC 7.0. Now he can not see any of his screens. We tried adding a Screen Hierarchy. Still cann't see the screens. How do we undo all of the damage! To make it worse he is on a redundant system.

In this there is a file called Ssm.cfg. Copy this file from redundantserver. But I would strongly recommend making a backup of original (rename to Ssm.cfg.old) before copying so that if you notice problems restore the original. impala By a complete save; do you mean click the export button you circled on the screen print? No. Complete save in the Picture Tree Manager by unchecking the "Delta Save" and saving afteradding your heirarchy screens. Regards

billwest Posts: 510 Rating: (120)	To get the screens back, can't you change the start screen back to the original start screen before the OS Project Editor was run. They should still be there. The picture tree is only required if you want your pictures to appear in the OS Project structure.

Can we get the file back from it? If impala wants get back the damaged server, it possible execute a project duplicator from working server to damaged one and recover it? Duplicate the project and adjust redundancy settings. One problem (I can think of) is, if plant is running and shutdown is not allowed. If I am not mistaken to duplicate projekt one needs to close WinCC. And CBo, your question is definitely not stupid!Everyone cannot haveevery idea! Regards
