Hi Hemming. To convert of decimal number to binary code there is an algorithm defined (successive divisions), to which it can be approximated by successive subtraction (their divisions for 2). Precisely this algorithm, I implemented in LOGO!Soft. I I'll answer your questions. Is this the easiest way to do it? ---------- Is the most elegant solution. Therefore, the most flexible. Is it possible to preset the up/down counter with a start value? ---------- You can set an initial value to the counter if you connect an Analog Amplifier with offset between B015 and B007 block (This is on 0BA5) If you use 0BA6. In the properties of the block Counter, you must fill the parameter"Start Value".
