Hi. You can transfer data to VB application (or any other application) as run parameters. In C Script it will be something like this: ... char *a,*b,*c; a="c:\\...\\YourVBApplication.exe "; b="parameter2"; c="parameter3"; strcat(a,b); strcat(a,' '); strcat(a,'c'); ProgramExecute(a); ... So you can transfer two char values "parameter1" and "parameter2". If you need to transfer value of any other type, you need to convert it to char first. I don't know about VB Script, but in C Script there are only functions to convert from char, but not to char, so, you may need to write your own ones. Here is text file with my conversion functions. Hello, here you will find instruction how to read serial data by barcode scanner: https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/ww/en/posts/85682/ WinCC does not provide serial functions directly. As I remember a project that I had in last century, we used PDQCOMM-Library which we linked as OCX to our IDE. Best regards Georg |
