Do you use WinCC 7.0?

With that VBS-script you can read out thestatus bar (in Example number of pending alarms) of a new AlarmControl (i.E. "Control1") and write into static text (i.E "StaticText1")
Dim objA, objT
Set objA = HMIRuntime.ActiveScreen.ScreenItems("Control1")
Set objT = HMIRuntime.ActiveScreen.ScreenItems("StaticText1")

objA.StatusbarElementId = 37
objT.Text = objA.StatusbarElementText

This script you can trigger by a button or by an action in Global Script If you do not need the AlarmControl on your picture, set the property "Visible" of the Controlin the Graphics Designer at false.

trigger the following script by mouseclick at the static text.

Set objA = HMIRuntime.ActiveScreen.ScreenItems("Control1")
objA.Visible = Not objA.Visible

So you can show and close the AlarmControl by click at the static text. I hope its clear now.
