Dear all

I have a CP 342-5 connected to S7 CPU 312C using profibus card CP5613 A2, the CP 5613 A2 was installed in a WorkStation 390 DELL PC , have the this configuration on site, however i receive this error when I connect to profibus.

Data transmission problem of the CP 5613/CP5614 !

-> Cause
a. Short Circuit on the bus line
b. Problems with the bus terminator
c. Defect Station
d. Wrong bus parameters (double station address, TTR is too low, wrong baud rate……)
e. Other disruptions

Note: The communication works fine in other PC HP (Hewlett Pack )

The error keeps changing every time i rebootI have updated the BIOS of the PC to the latest version, that didnt help. Then I removed the card and rebooted the PC, however all the LEDs are lit for around 6 or 10 seconds and then the PC starts, that didnt help too.

So well, I did the following:
1. I installed the Software and CP5613 A2 in another PC and tested if it works there or if the same problem happens, then the PC HP (Hewlett Pack) starts and works fine.

2. I reinstalled the software in the original PC and tested, works fine, without CP5613 A2 and with CP5613 A2The problem is the CP in the PC WorkStation 390 DELL.

I use the same set of parameters in both PC.

What can I do with is the CP in the PC WorkStation 390 DELL communication?

I have the same problem but in wincc 7.0 with PLC s7-400. If you any solution for that please send me the same on [snip]
