Looking for a true CP341 Modbus RTU example Program

I've found an example in the pdf document "Modma.pdf" and "Modsla.pdf", but it is obviously incomplete and does'nt use the FB80 usefull for all Modbus Communication (I think). Thank you in advance. If they are from the Application&Tools area, the file names start with a number (Item ID) In the document in the Appendix there should be a link to the downloadpage or the Item ID is on top of each page.

Hey, David! For CP341 it is the best way to use loadable drivers (for Modbus Master, it is a order code6ES7870-1AA01-0YA1)..... . The communication is then very simple. I can send you my 2 FB (one for reading from Modbus Slave and one for writeing registers to Modbus Slave), which I often use in my programs. have fun! uel123

The complete modbus program can be understood by looking intodifferent functions blocks, i.e., OB1, OB100, FC10, FC11, FC21, FC22, DB40, DB41 and some other application specific DBs. Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, I am also doing the same thing MODBUS communication between S7400 PLC & third party device using CP341-RS422/485 (6ES7 341-1CH02-0AE0) with loadable MODBUS dongle. Actually I don't understand that in this program where is modbus register address is mentioned. Means how could I define the data send/receive on which perticular modbus register address using this program. I have register addresses of third party system in which I know that which address has to be read/write. But I don't understand how could I define these addresses in PLC program (Send Execute/Receive Execute). Please clarify briefly. Regards, Vijay N.

KARTHIK_FOX Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	HI, In the Above Atatched back-up Open FC11 , in this FC slave address 5,6,7 are used to read and write. M505.0 is Excution time for 150ms, i.e each slave is scanned for 150ms timer logic has been written for that, DB42 is the sourse DB , where address have been moved, DB43 is the Destination address, where values are stored.
