DP communication to Siprotec4

lonelynx Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi Wehave a system with S7-400 H, Y-link , Siprotec4 units and several other ProfiBus nodes. Our problem is that the Y-link offer a limited IO-area (244 byte in/ 244 byte out), and the Siprotec4 units seem to demand quite a lot of this area. The Siprotecs we're using is both 7SJ61 and 7SJ62. I've read about the Standard Mappings and we will not be able to realizeeven the minimum standard solution with Standard Mapping. Questions: - Is it possible to adjust the optimize the communication area in any way? - Is it possible to configurea minimum in HW-config? (e.g. 8 bytes in and 8 bytes out) Thanks in advance Best Regards. bm

I think the solution is to install more Y-Links. Mike J
