amandeep Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	hello experts here is the problem I'm having on PLCSIM (V5.4 SP4) and wincc 7.0 I wanna to check all my signals in wincc but when i have to eastablish communication between plcsim and wincc it is not working. PLCsim is working ok as CFC of the project is runing but the wincc part is not communicated. in wincc hardware im using IE and it is on the same ethernet connection with cpu 416.when i see in the netpro both wincc and plc416 in the same ethernet but when going online in netpro it shows the connection partner innot available. All tags are coming in wincc in the tree of industrial ethernet. please give solution

rogermanrique Posts: 67 Rating: (22)	amandeep, usually when i test my projects using plcsim/wincc i use mpi connection. just put a cp5512 in wincc config, recompile everything and works as a charm best regards

Ammy Platinum Member Joined: 4/19/2008 Last visit: 11/21/2024 Posts: 1525 Rating: (159)	Hi If you are using the CPU 416 PN/DP then on WinCC side your connection comes under the TCP/IP & in System Parameter -> Unit -> Logical device name - > PLCSIM(RFC 1006). & If you are using the IE CP then onWinCC side your connection comes under the Industrial Ethernet & in System Parameter -> Unit -> Logical device name - > PLCSIM(ISO). it is working with this setting on my Project.

amandeep Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	hello rogermann the cp1512 which you have told it's support only profibus communication while using the plc sim we have to make ethernet connection b/w plcsim and wincc so we can use the IE not CP1512.

M_syrian Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	WINCC_v7 connect to PLCsim Dear Greeting i am already have project on HMI SIEMSN PC(wincc v7 ) AND 317F PLC is running i have tried to make simulation on my laptop for development but WINCC can’t see PLCSIM where is all the tag on wincc under TCP/IP there is any procedure for the setting for the laptop IP and network console and PLCSIM to make it works i was do that before but was long time can somebody help to exactly how to do with my kind regards
