Salma Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	I assume that this is a new installation and it has never worked - is this correct ? I have WinCC V6 SP4 running on XP SP2 at the moment and have never seen this error so hopefully it is a configuration / set-up issue and not a software fault If so then a few things to check are: - ensure that the Windows Firewall has been disabled in Control Panel \ Firewall - try disabling any anti-virus software you may have installed - rebooting the PC [:)] Some questions : - try creating a new project and putting it straight into runtime. Do you get the same error? - at what stage of the activation process do you get this message ? It is not visible in your picture but it looks like the Graphics or Global Script. Can you confirm please.

rit03 Posts: 341 Rating: (24)	No It was working ok before, I am facing this problem from yesterday. The windows firewall and antivirus software is already disabled. This problem is happenning in any project i.e the older one that I had already created and even with new project that has been created with simply one graphic picture and without any script, tag logging or alarm logging. Salma Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	Thank you for the information. In which case, what has changed ?? In such cases where something stops working it is due to something being changed in within or outside of WinCC. Any new software installed? Machine crashed? etc.
