I am looking to set up a template on a hmi that would look like a 7 day plan for each unit. In this plan an On/Off time for controling when the units come on and switch off can be entered. Each unit has a digital enable signal that when activated would switch the unit on. So i am looking for a way to enter on/off times for the digital outputs of the PLC and to be able to access and edit these times from a HMI.

S7-1200 shall enable one user after another by a time schedule. Maybe in Monday user 1, on thursday user 2 and so on. Maybe 2 users at the same day. Is this right?? Best way is to take PLC internal time. The function RD_SYS_T reads system time and move them to DTL-variable. You can have access of each byte of this DTL variable (year, month, ..., day of week...). Please have a look to manual chapter 6.2.2. With this information you can build up a schedule that enables one of your systems maybe on monday from 10 - 11 a.m. and so on...

Is it possible to use your alarm multiple times? eg at 06:00 at 14:00 and at 22:00? if yes then i am doing something wrong as i get a msg ,There are objects with ambiguous addresses in the program.,1,0,2:19:37 PM.
