How to close Internet Explorer in MP377 12" key

He uses a button to open Internet Explorer to show the help in MP377 12" key. When the Internet Explorer opens,how to close the Internet Explorer to back to WinCC flexible ? I know that we can use Hot key "Ctrl + w " to close Internet Explorer. But he felt that inconvenient. He must to change the key led to w and press ctrl+w. Do you know the other method ? How about use Javascript in Internet Explorer in MP377 ? Is it possible ? Tks. Angus.

I projected a button with function "Taskmanager". So you can open the taskmanager and close it by hand. Scripting is a good idea, but scripting on WinCE is not sobeautiful. Sorry but i also have no idea. But if you have a script, which close the IE then please let me know this. regards Manfred

It can detect that "ESC" is pressed. (This ESC is in front of MP377) The AP detects "ESC", AP will send " Ctrl+W " to OS and close AP. But I still study the AP. Tks. Angus.

"component can´t create object Wscript.Shell" Thats what i mean...with windows CE it is not possible. Maybe you only tryed it out in simulation? Or i´m wrong? Could you explaine how to do, please? fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Sorry, I didn't know that you can't use scripting on Windows CE by default. This is a script I use on WinCC flexible... But, Wikipedia says that some Windows CE devices can use VBScript, so maybe you could try to manualy install support for VBScript. This article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/185223) describes manual removal of files needed for VB programs (and since there is vbscript.dll, also VB scripts). So reverse procedure is probalby possible. Or you could try to install some program that comes with installation of needed files... I don't have much experince with Windows CE, so I applogize if I'm suggesting something impossible or stupid. Best regards

Inflexible, we clicks a button to open internetexplorer and my AP. My APalways hides and you just see the InternetExplorer on the screen. WhenI clicks ESC key and Wince will close IE and my APto returnflexible. the main tips of my AP: 1. use "Registerhotkey" to register hot key of WinCE 5.0 2. use "WM_hotkey" to get the hot key message 3. use keybd_event to sendkeycode toWinCE 5.0 4. these functionsare incoredll.dll of WinCE5.0. ( WinCE5.0 doesn't have user32.dll and itbelongs only Windows) FYR. Angus.
