S5 115U CPU941b to S7 CP-340 communication

I want my S5 PLC and S7 PLC to talk with each other.. I am doing this for testing the communication of my CP-340 with the CPU-941b. And also, after i succeed in communicating this two, I will be having this project.. communicating S7 315-2DP using TTY with a third party HMI (Super Flash). Please someone must help me.. Before i get fired.. wah! THanks in advance!! Daniel

jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, As far as I remember, the CPU 941 does not have an interface allowing directly serial communication on the CPU itself. A CPU943 or 944 would have the second interface you need. With a CPU 941, I am afraid that you will need a CP in the configuration (CP523, CP524 or CP525). For TTY you will find the needed info for connection cable description here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/218300 And here for RS232: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26588986 I would recommend as Protocol choice 3964R
