S5 CPU 928 B Reset Switch Broken.

Major problem is many customer has broken the Reset switch and in case cold restart required or CPU going to stop mode due to any hardware disturbances they ,it is not possible to cold restart. And then they have to call Service engineer for this, Secondly for the switch only they can not stop the plant and send for repais to Siemens and wait. Is it possible to replace this at site with some alternative switch ? If yes what type of switch can be used. This could be very helpfull to me. Best regards,

Kaufi Posts: 28 Rating: (0)	Hello, After cold restart will be treated OB20,OB21,OB22.is possible turns red light to errorBASP and all output periferiewill bedisabled. BASP : Command output disable ,signal is generated when the CPU stops.The signal disables the output modules. Program is not scaned in STOP mode.The values of the timers ....... the BASP signal is cancelled only after OB21 or OB22 (restart) have been processed. I thinks at restart CPU is problem with adress some output periferie. because, If CPUwith emty memory is not problem running to RUN process.This problems is only at connected to some output periferie or power supply CPU itself. hazem Posts: 329 Rating: (6)	this is common problem with reset button that always broken. shall i ask the expert if any possiblity to make cold restart from pg if the cpu stop button fashes quickly i mean i can delete the software then down load it again the go to run mode is it possbile to do this even reset switch broken or not possbile or the question by another way is it possible that we get rid off the broken switch by software or not.
