clarity Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hi all sorry my first post is a question but I have a query I would like to solve hopefully with your help. We have a Hardinge Bridgeport Machining Centre with the 810D Control. Over the past few weeks the software has become increasingly "buggy" resetting itself etc. We have spoken to technical support and they have reccomended a backup, now we have the backup disc the service engineer made when he installed the machine what I dont have is the knowledge to do it. Basically is there a step by step guide somewhere to using the backup? I understand from searching I cant use the USB or ethernet ports and it would seem I need some software also? Anybody who can point me in the right direction the help would be greatly appreciated.

Its your 810D is with MMC100.2/PCU20 or with MMC103/PCU50 if it is MMC100.2/PCU20 ==>NC/PLC backup is loaded through PCIN/WINPCIN. if it is MMC103/PCU50==> If backup is present in the Harddisk (NC/PLC) it can be loaded through the HMI screen itself. i.e Menu select>Service>etc key[>] > Read startup archive( select the backup NC/PLC ) > start Check out.... rgds / rpk89

clarity Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hi rpk89 Thanks for your reply We have the PCU20 so looks like I will need PCIN/WINPCIN Where can I get this software from as I have been through the pack we had with the machine and all I found was a manual CDROM. Best regards Craig
