Hello titan84 The CP523 is a Serial Communications Card, either 10/11bits or 3964R Protocol comunnicating to your 19inch Rackmount SMP PC. You can use the Siemens CP340 or CP341 Point to Point Communications Card in your S7 System to achieve the same communication, if you are keeping the AT-CPU?. Regards / m.f.g

For example How do you configure a connection between WinCC flexible Runtime (PC or Panel) and a SIMATIC S7-300 / S7-400 via Industrial Ethernet? . The point is you should build all the logic regards panel again in S7 CPU. I don't think existing application to be so helpful. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
