meshmesh Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Dear all I have PLC CPU 313C-2DP and when I capture a backup from application ( upload station from PLC menu in Simatic S7 5.2 ) the system functions " SFCs" doesn't uploaded while I see backup from project but include SFCs.For your kind advice regards ossama

In offline project you can insert the SFC's to be able to use them in project. But when you download the project, the SFC's will not download. Best regards, Wizard

You can search in the forum on how Know-How Protect. to see how itis inserted in the function source, and therefore you can learn how to remove it. But I caution you against doing so. All the Siemens-provided blocks have a tested functionnality. If you change anythiong in the file, you will lose those functionnalities, or make tem different from the standard functions, which could lead to many problems. In the best of worlds, you would make a copy of the protected block before you modify the Know-How Protect attribute, so you can revert to it after you have modified the original block. On top of which, these blocks are generally programmed in very compact STL code, very difficult to understand by someone unsused to it. Your best bet is to simply use these blocks in the same way you use instructions (ADD_I, CMP_EQ...) in your program: you hardly look for the source code of these instructions in your program. Simply it's a linear equation. FC105 Help Description The SCALE function takes an integer value (IN) and converts it to a real value in engineering units scaled between a low and a high limit (LO_LIM and HI_LIM). The result is written in OUT. The SCALE function uses the equation: OUT = [ ((FLOAT (IN) – K1)/(K2–K1)) * (HI_LIM–LO_LIM)] + LO_LIM The constants K1 and K2 are set based upon whether the input value is BIPOLAR or UNIPOLAR. ·BIPOLAR: The input integer value is assumed to be between –27648 and 27648, therefore, K1 = –27648.0 and K2 = +27648.0 ·UNIPOLAR: The input integer value is assumed to be between 0 and 27648, therefore, K1 = 0.0 and K2 = +27648.0 If the input integer value is greater than K2, the output (OUT) is clamped to HI_LIM, and an error is returned. If the input integer value is less than K1, the output is clamped to LO_LIM, and an error is returned. Reverse scaling can be obtained by programming LO_LIM > HI_LIM. With reverse scaling, the value of the output decreases as the value of the input increases. FC106 is an Unscale FC that convert the physical value into AO value. FC106 Help The UNSCALE function takes a real input value (IN) in engineering units scaled between a low and a high limit (LO_LIM and HI_LIM) and converts it to an integer value.
