nanu123 Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	I have sinumerik 810GA3 system want to add alarm text for 7016 number. the settings i kept in WINPCIN are B.R-1200,parity-Even,stop bits-2,datat bits-7 text format. I have also tried other buad rate and parity but PCA file upload is not possible,it is giving framing error.The uploaded backup is not readbale.Please provide me the detail solution

I think backup what you have taken may be not proper / baudrate settings are kept wrong ...Ok let me expalin it to you properly.. >You need to download PCA data first to PC/ Laptop ensure you have kept settings properly >Open your PCA in word format… >Edit the alarm text what you want to add… >Then down load the PCA file in to the system ensure you have kept settings properly. >Downloading the PCA file to the control it may get stop. In that condition format the alarm text memory and then reload the PCA backup again. >Now trigger the alarm and check whether it displaying properly…. Can you check your RS232 cable? try reduce the baud rate and check...5026 and 5027 doesn't play any role.. 5011 and 5013 plays role for the baud rate.... check your laptop/pc COM port whether it is functioning proper....Also try checkwith another PC/laptop... Hope you will find some solution... Ekalavya
