Sending tagprefix to faceplate on clicking customized object

Jazz_M Gold Member Joined: 9/6/2008 Last visit: 5/7/2022 Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	Hi all well i have created a customized object and i have used the c code that is available in FAQ Entry ID:24193022 , i have compiled the c script and given the tagname as "TAG_NAME" instead of "state" and changed the template picture "TYPCAL_MOT_:MAIN.PDL" as to my configred picture, say for an eg "my_pic.pdl". well my problem is that when i click on the customized object, 1. my pop up screen does not appear. 2. will this code trasfer the tag prefix to my popup window. or where have i gone wrong . it seems that i am lost i have attached the code given in the FAQ. The OS project editor must have been run through at least once in the WinCC project. The basic WinCC pictures are created when the OS project editor is run through. There is a fixed number of picture windows available for calling faceplates. "STATE" is the property name not the tag name. On this property you have the tag.

Iwork with WinCC Version V7 SP1 and there isn't the Standard Function "SSMRTOpenTopFieldEx", this is the reason why it doesn't work. The FAQ is only for WinCC V7. I will look how it work with the Standard Function "SSMRTOpenTopFieldEx" /"SSMRTOpenTopFieldFixedSize" Perhaps you can also try it with this function an post if it work.

Please have a look in the configurations dialog/Property of TAG_NAME. I think you should use a I/O Field for TAG_NAME and put on OutputValue the D.
