Hello LSI_Engineer certainly not a nice situation to be in and while I can't give you a pre-programmed example that fits your application I'll at least try point you in the right direction. To start with a few things worhthile noting: The CP343-1 LEAN limits you a fair bit with what you can do. It can only act as a Server, which means that you can NOT use Get/Put in the 318, but only in your 315's (the318 CPU with the CP343-1 LEAN willthen simply "serve" the Get/Put requests made by each315). It also means that the S7 connection will only be configured and downloaded to each 315 but NOT to the 318. "Good news" is that the CP343-1 LEAN can at least handle up to 4 "incoming" S7 connectionswhich is just enough for all three315's to "hammer it" with Get/Put requests. All that's left to do for you is now this: Configurean S7 connection inNetpro for every 315 CPU (with the 318 being the destination partner). If all PLC's are in one S7 project you can select the 318 as the partner (even though you can NOT do the same vice versa due to the CP343-1 LEAN Server "limit"). If the PLC's are in different projects, you still configure the S7 connections for every 315, but select "unspecified connection" and manually fill in the 318's destination partner details (you do NOT configure any connections for the 318 CPU itself in Netpro). Once done, download Netpro to all 315's (no need to download anything to the 318) Add and program Get/Put FB14/15 inevery 315 program. Note that you must use FB14/15 (SFB14/15 are for S7 400 CPU's). That's basically it (apart from deciding on what DB's or M areas are for sending and receiving ofdata in every PLC and whatever data marshalling logic you want/need to write). And here are a few hopefully helpful example and supporting links: How do you program communication blocks FB14 "GET" and FB15 "PUT" for data communication on the S7-300? Sample Program: S7 Communication with blocks FB14 ("GET") und FB15 ("PUT") of the CPU 317-2PN/DP What should you watch out for when configuring an unspecified S7 connection for data communication between an S7-300 and an S7-400? Which types of connection/protocols do the S7-300/400 CPUs and the CPs support by default? I hopethis helps and good luck |
