PCS7 Loop Into alarm problem

veber Posts: 12 Rating: (2)	Hi, I should have done something wrong cause now if I double click on the alarm line the OS open the page in which there is the device in alarm, but this page is displayed grayed out, it seems like the pages not connected to PLC. This happens for all the pages. If I click on the status group near the name of the page on the browser bar, everything works fine. I tried to look into the alarm objects to find out the problem, but it calls only a function and at the moment I'm not so skilled to find out where is the code and to understand how it work. But I suspect that the problem is not in the function code but when I compile and download the OS. I tried to restore an old backup but the problem is still there. Have you got any suggestions?

Peraphs cause I did not wanto to loose all my faceplate and I did not replace my own objects with the standards, only reset to standard alarm pages. I tried also to use an old backup that I know it worked fine, but it did not work. I think that I should have to delete completely the OS and rebuild it :-( But now I can't.

CBo Gold Member Joined: 4/5/2006 Last visit: 10/10/2024 Posts: 917 Rating: (63)	Hi veber, i'm a lil confused if I understood well, You don't want to perform "OS preject Editor" because you don't want loose your faceplate? but you built new faceplate (not overwriting the PCS7 standard)? That means you'll not loose your custom faceplate but only customization in standard graphic page (like overview, alarm and so on...easy and fast to setup again) If you don't want to do this, try to create a new simple project with one CFC block and new OS and lets us to know how is works the new project. I still didn't understand if the problem could be in your project or in something wrong on the PCS7 installation or corrupted files or.... regards

I already tried the OS project editor. I figured out that the the "two" processpictures have different servernames (using the "info" button from the button line). The picture which is working correctly show Servername: "@local" the same picture opened via "loop in alarm" shows Servername "WinCC Projectname_OS1::..." Any idea?

veber Posts: 12 Rating: (2)	I tried what suggested CBo but it did not work properly, or better did not work until I deleted completely the directory in which there was the project on the OS1 and OS2 ( OS Stand by) stations, then I deleted the OS1 from the multiproject in the engineering workstation and rebuild it as new. Download again in the two workstation and everithing works. [schnippschnapp] New question is transferred to problem with translation from English to French. Bye, Veber
