Problem Updating WinCC Variables

Engelbert Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	We are using WinCC V6.0 sp3 connected to several OPC Servers local and remotes. We´re having a problem with the updating of values. After a month more or less since the last system start the system turns freezed, the analog and digital dynamics stops updating progressive. If we restart the computer it starts working fine again, until another month... This hapens with the variables from all the OPC Serves, so we think the problem is something in WinCC. Have someone see this before? Does somebody knows what could hapens with WinCC? Thanks in Advance, Engelbert Rodriguez, ICESA Spain

Whe don´t have exactly when the problem starts.We have 10 different OPC channels,after some days that the system is running one of the opc channels stops updating variables, then some hours later another, then another, and another until all ths system doesn´t update any variable. When you talk about archive configuration you mean User Archives? We don´t use user archives. We do use alarm logging, tag logging and redundancy. Thanks in advance Engelbert

Engelbert Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hello, thank you for your comments. I haven´t use another OPC Server, I will try to do that. I forgot to mention that we have two computers with WinCC redundant configuration and the problem occurs in both computers more or less at the same time. Regards, Engelbert
