Fingerprint field in User Archives

AlfonsoAD Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	Hello. I have problems using User Archives with C-Scripting. So I'm trying to insert records in user archives using Microsoft OLE DB. I can make queries and insert new records but I need to put the Fingerprint field to null in order to make the insertion. Is it necessary to introduce a value? Is there a function to calculate the Fingerprint field? I know it's an internal field, but I don't know if this field is used by the UserArchiveControl or anything else. Thank you in advance. I have a system (winCC 7.0) in which I manage recipes with multiple steps (about 50 parameters and 90 steps). Using C script functions to store/retrieve the recipes is very long (minutes). So I use Vb script + ADO to do it. The problem is: if I leave any record with invalid fingerprint (I don't know how to compute it), WinCC crashes each time I restart it during startup phase. Roberto
