Fast Input analog PLC module

nkusuma Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi every body I need a help in selecting a high speed analog input module SN 331 which should be capable of reading vibration signal of 10KHz frequency range. Can SN 331 be used for that ? As I understand its basic conversion time is 52microsec per channel, can I connect all8 cahnnels to 8 sensors and read simultaneously. It should not be added for 8 channels like 52usec x 8 = 400 usec. If that is the case I will not be able to read signals of 10KHz range. I would like to know how it PLC scans the signal, at what rate, is it converting and reading the signal is dependant on scan time of PLC Cpu? Please help me out in know the answer for this. Ayman Elotaify Diamond Expert Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 12/29/2025 Posts: 4522 Rating: (843)	Hello, It is clearly stated in the manual of High Speed Analog Input Module 6ES7 331-7HF01-0AB0that the basic coversion time per chanel is 52 micro second. Hope this helps.
