Problem with S7 313C-2DP CPU.

Zangetsu Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I've a problem with CPU 313C-2DP, i've just bought it for training purpose and i was testing it....i've made a simple program with ladder which is when every input (I0.0 ... I0.7 & I1.0 ... I1.7) makes an output (Q0.0 ... Q0.7 & Q1.0 ... Q1.7) to be energized...everything till now is going great...i went online and no commnuication problems occured...i began to apply my inputs one by one and monitoring the outputs...but the problem is that whenever i apply an input it's green led indicates that he's ON and no output comes ON, and when i tried to monitor these from STEP7 program....nothing appears also. I tried to force the outputs but invain.... Does anyone has an explaination to what happened with me? P.S. the program i used is in attachment thanks in advance. Dear Zangetsu, When I look at hardware configuration, I see that integrated I/O of CPU313C has address I 124 and Q 124 instead of I 0 and Q 0. So you will have to change in programm or Hardware configuration. Best regards, Wizard

Jazz_M Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	Hi I would like to add few more points, the CPU 313 C 2DP has saome limitations in terms of IO address, memeory address, etc. If you have connected the CPU to your PG/PC then you could go online -> go to Diagnostic buffer & select the tab performance parameter, In that you can see the min and max address that is supported by CPU actually, The address min and max limitations that you can use. Be very carefull during programming as the address that you use should fall between the valid range of the Controller that you have selected. the same can be see in your ST70 catalogue. Have fun...
