Can I alsocontrolremotely thezoom and rotate the camera directly from the WinCC ? Can I do the same for several cameras at the same time ? What extra hardware devices or special cameras doI need ? mebe22 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello ruca, sure you can use camera controls inside WinCC RT. There are serveral manufactures which offer cameras and suitable controls to show live images. These controls have a program interfaceto send commands to the connected camera for rotating, zooming and so on. Checkout the Siemens Automation webpage. (www.automation.siemens.com). GoForIT Posts: 352 Rating: (7)	We did an installation a few years ago with Axis ip camera. I used a faceplate containing the Axis activeX to control the camera (pan, zoom etc). The setup was in fact quite simple to integrate into WinCC. The only drawback is that the activeX needs to be installed on every WinCC client. o

GoForIT Posts: 352 Rating: (7)	In my WinCC project I used Axis camera. The faceplate is developed by myself and is containing the AciveX component from Axis. With the command interface I can control the camera with zoom, pan etc. have a nice weekend O

I have to stress out that I don't need to control the camera, I just need to have live feed from it, and it has to be an IP camera. I use WinCC 7.0 SP1 on Windows 7 Professional 32bit if it helps.

Download the AXIS mediacontrol from the Axis website Install this piece of software on RT an RC Register this component into WinCC components Drag this component into you *.pdl Connect the property MediaURL to you videostream Set AutoConnect to True. O
