6ES7416-2XN05-0AB0 communication problem faced

Deep Bhatt Posts: 241 Rating: (50)	I have 6ES7416-2XN05-0AB0 cpu. It is working on 1.5 mbps speed of profobus communication. sometimes it goes out of communication with drive and if I change the speed of data rate from 1.5 mbps to 128 kbps or slower than 1.5 mbps its working properly.. I have checked profobus and fiber optic cable physically there is no problem with it..and all communications are as per standrd rule with 2 OLM. I am facing this problem twice in 15 days.. Can any one give solution for that???

Hello AC/DC; In my experience, the fact that your system will work at a slower speed but not at expected speed generally implies that you dohave connection problems somewhere,often faultyshield connections. What diagnostics do you have? LEDs on the master, on the slave, on the OLMs? Have you checked the diagnostic buffer when you try to runthe bus at 1,5 MB? It should call OB86 every time you lose connection with the slave. Please provide us more info on your problem so we can help diagnose it. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
