jeetendra Experienced Member Joined: 8/30/2010 Last visit: 9/30/2025 Posts: 31 Rating: (1)	Hello everyone, I am using S7200 plc with MD720-3 I am sending data on GPRS to central server station through sinaut MicroSC server (opc routing server). But I dont know how to retrive data at central station when GPRS gets disconnected. How to buffer data in PLC and sending data to central server station when GPRS gets connected.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, I am aware we are talking about SINAUT Micro SC OPC Server. The issue with this on PLC side is that the blocks developed on the PLC are not capable of polling data onits own. Therefore it does not store the data locally to transfer it late on. The SINAUT Micro SC OPC solution does not replace SINAUT TIM Modules. Only the TIM modules are able to store this information during a communication blackout for a short while. The issue here is... theses modules have memory and are configured and parameterized to poll... the blocks in the S7-200 and S7-300do not store somethingor work onits own. I am sorry but this is the situation as I see it right now. Best regards J_Bell

The real-time stamp transferred together with the process data serves as a trigger. Generating the CSV-file The CSV-file is generated using a script in WinCC flexible. The file name is generated according to the following syntax: Figure 3-17 Archive_2008.1.31.csv Standard textCurrent date The following figure shows code used for it: code cannotpaste here. The way to get this done may be very different... but even harder it will be to transfer this from your PLC to the SINAUT Micro SC OPC Server. I really look forward to see your solution.
