Is there any procedures similar to the commisioning of SimoregDC Drives? Please guide me, stepby step,to commission a Simoreg DC drive. Regards Dibendu

Simoreg have a lot of protection. If you are afraid of some danger, then install fuses at AC and DC side, and centrifugal cutout.

Hello, Simoreg converter can run without encoder, with analogue tacho. For analogue tacho, max +/- 270V can be connected at XT 103 & 104 terminal. Pulse encoder can be connected at CUD1 terminal X 173. If you want to run drive with EMF control set P083=3, & enter max EMF value at P115. Remember when converter is configured to run at EMF control, field weakening is not possible & precise speed accuracy is not achievable. Hope this will help you.

SAYCOOO Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	Hello thanks alot the original problem was that the drive indicate alarm ( F42) which means tacho fault . so i check the following: • Open circuit in tachometer or pulse encoder cable. • Tachometer of pulse encoder cable incorrectly connected. • Pulse encoder supply has failed. • Polarity for actual speed value (P743) is incorrectly set. • Armature circuit data (P110 und P111) are incorrectly set (execute current controller optimization run). • Tachometer or pulse encoder defective • Pulse encoder supply voltage is incorrectly set (P140) • The field polarity is not reversed by the external hardware when the field is reversed. All privious ok and also i changed the encoder by new one but the same alarm displayed. so that i changed the speed feed back from pulse encoder to emf controller. if you please to fix the problem . thanks
