ste_angioni Bronze Member Joined: 1/3/2009 Last visit: 6/30/2022 Posts: 161 Rating: (12)	Hi all, I am using an MP 377 (WinCC Flex 2008 sp2 upd3), and some of the variables, as well as the alarms, are logged and stored to the CF, installed on the panel. But, when I start the application, I don't get the "archives initialization ended" message, if I browse to the alarm history page I get the system alarm 80052 (unable to read data from log), and the CF is empty. The archives are configured as I have always done, and everything seems ok in the HMI project in WinCC. - May it be something wrong with the CF? The filesystem is FAT32 at the moment - Have you got any suggestion? thank you very much,

D_M_D Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hello, Strange is that I have exactly the same problem - I am using MP377 12" Touch and after updating the OS from 2008 SP1 + HF5 to 2008 SP2 + Upd 3 (this happened one week ago) the archives are not working. I use 4GB CF card to store alarms and 2GB SD card to store temperature archives. Yesterday I moved all the archives to be stored on CF card but not succesfully. I suspect that the initialization time of the cards is too long and when the Runtime loads and the card is not ready - there is no archiving, but I may be wrong. I am writing this because I think this IS a software problem because of SP2 and Upd 3. Before that - all was ok.

D_M_D Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	The solution from Siemens support is to use older OS-Image -> v.1.0.4.0 or as what we did to move all archives on USB. Siemens said that an update will be released but no information when. Hope this is helpful.
